A new type of crowd enthuser to follow the Vuvuzela!
Everyone remembers the annoying vuvuzela in the South African world cup in 2010… well love them or hate them, they were bloody popular and people i’m sure made a decent wedge selling them.
My friend KB and I were trying to think of a new type of ‘crowd enthuser’ over a few whiskies and came up with the idea of an ‘Air Raid’ style, handheld crowd enthuser!.
- The noise is very annoying
- Kids would love to wind up the air raid noise and annoy parents
- Imagine a group of kids combining and amplifying the noise – or even a stadium full of them!
- Yes – i’m sure there will be concerns over its usage – evacuate the stadium! (could even get banned)
- Enthuser needs to be light, plastic, handheld wind up motion, not electronic, cheap.
I had a surf around and found the following:
- Original air raid sirens items for sale on eBay and Amazon
- The closest I found – a handheld hand crank air siren!, the comments and reviews clearly indicate that it meets functional requirements 🙂
So – make a cheap, plastic version of that which kids can buy and the product concept is done!
